Greet patients, review lab request form, and confirm patients have met dietary requirement for prescribed tests. Provide outstanding customer service by answering broad technical questions and directing patients to appropriate resources. Collect blood samples using venipuncture or capillary puncture safely, affix labels on specimens, efficiently and accurately, following all standard guidelines. Process blood specimens using preservative or anticoagulant as required by test procedures and prepare specimens for shipment to referenced lab daily. Instruct patients regarding the collection and packaging of specimens such as urine, and stool samples. Manage specimen accessing accurately and efficiently to provide quality specimens for laboratory testing. Assist the lab manager with the update of forms and templates. Perform waived testing (step, influenza, urinalysis, glucose pregnancy test, p/t inr, stool occult blood and esr western green system) daily. Quality control testing on each test kit is performed when required. Safely dispose of biological waste, needles, and related hazardous materials. Communicates with medical, clinical, and technical staff to resolve problems regarding specimens or other laboratory related issues. Follow and define laboratory procedures and maintain awareness of changes to procedures. Identify and request materials needed, assist with vendor records, receive and verify shipments received.

Provide face to face interaction with insurance applicants including physical measurements, skilled blood draw and vital sign. Interview clients for risk assessment. Complete life insurance and disability exams. Process blood and prepare specimens for shipment to reference lab as needed. Ensure all specimens are collected accurately and on time. Conduct in center exams and mobile exams, which include taking basic vitals, medical histories, venipuncture, urine collection, and EKG. Responsible for completing application packets and other paperwork accurately. Label, centrifuge and split specimens as required. Upload and complete cases in portal within 24hrs on weekdays and within 48hrs on weekends. Package specimens for transport and ship to lab indicated on work orders. Provides customer service to clients. Confirm exams with client's day before appointment. Answers the telephone in a friendly and helpful manner, by incorporating the company name, self-identification and a helpful statement. Communicates all unresolved problems immediately to the appropriate manager or supervisor. Assist with periodic inventory counts, repots shortages and problems to Manager or Supervisor as they occur, and stocks supplies

I administered daily medication through peg tub, ADL care such as colostomy care, daily showers with assistance, assist with dressing, meal preparations, housekeeping etc
